This elevator is labeled "Elevator 9". From what I have heard, most of the elevators here are not very reliable. This building is for sale. It is unknown what will happen to this building. It might get demolished, or it might stay open, but this elevator is most likely going to be modernized. Otis Lexan fixtures. I tried the fan switch, and the fan didn't sound good at all. I am guessing it had not been turned on in years. This elevator used to be maintained by U.S. elevator. The current owner said they were going to modernize the elevators in 2015-2016, but I don't think that will happen yet, as the current owner is struggling to keep this place open. Notice the key switches on the hall stations. Those key switches might be Dover key switches. Notice how there is an Otis nameplateon the top of the inside of the hoistway door jambs. Year installed: Circa 1969
